[logback-user] Problem with ViewStatusMessagesServlet

Given the following configuration excerpt:

context.name = "myapp"
statusListener(OnConsoleStatusListener)
appender("CONSOLE", ConsoleAppender) {
  encoder(PatternLayoutEncoder) {
    pattern = "%d{HH:mm:ss,SSS} %-5p [%c{1}.%M] %m%n"
  }
}
appender("FILE", FileAppender) {
  file = "target/csi.log"
  encoder(PatternLayoutEncoder) {
    pattern = "%d{HH:mm:ss,SSS} %-5p [%c{1}.%M] %m%n"
  }
}
logger("com.myapp", DEBUG)
logger("org.jboss.resteasy", DEBUG)
root(WARN, ["FILE", "CONSOLE"])

I am finding that the ViewStatusMessagesServlet is outputting neither "myapp" as the context name (still uses "default") nor any of my application log messages. So nothing from com.myapp or org.jboss.resteasy is coming up.

Here is the configuration in web.xml:

   <servlet>
        <servlet-name>Log</servlet-name>
       <servlet-class>ch.qos.logback.classic.ViewStatusMessagesServlet</servlet-class>
    </servlet>
    <servlet-mapping>
        <servlet-name>Log</servlet-name>
        <url-pattern>/logging</url-pattern>
    </servlet-mapping>

I would appreciate some insight into what's wrong with my configuration.

Thanks.
