Summary: 1.3.0 contains breaking API changes
           Product: SLF4J
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Macintosh
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: blocker
          Priority: P1
         Component: Core API
        AssignedTo: dev at slf4j.org
        ReportedBy: sdavids at gmx.de

The release notes should always mention if changes are upwards binary
compatible or if there are breaking API changes and if so they should be
explicitly documented.

... Class XYZ has been renamed to ZYX ... class ABC has been moved from package
a.b.c to package c.b.a ...

"This release consists of rearrangement of classes among projects." ... this
statement is not enough. Users should not be forced to make SVN diffs to find
out what has changed.
