           Summary: Quickstart on frontpage
           Product: SLF4J
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.3
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P1
         Component: Unspecified
        AssignedTo: dev at slf4j.org
        ReportedBy: ravn at runjva.com

It would be nice to have a "Quickstart with slf4j" which allows a bypassing
developer to gather an overview of what needs to be done to work with slf4j,
how to do it, and what benefits it gives. I suggest the HelloWorld program
with start and stop entry loggers, and slf4j-simple as the log backend.

Rationale: The current frontpage is very careful to explain many things
thoroughly, but does not have a "Quickstart" helping page.
