[slf4j-user] Bug-227 - Wrong Layout and PatternLayout Missing

Do we know when this might get fixed?

This is causing me a roadblock so I checked out the code and fixed it, but
now I am getting:

Caused By: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout

What would it take to fix both these issues?
