Ceki Gulcu resolved LBCORE-29.
------------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

As of logback version 0.9.12, FileAppender supports multiple-JVMs writing to the same file. As a corollary, multiple FileAppender instances running in the same JVM writing to the same file should also work. However, the latter use case is not officially supported. As such, I am closing this issue as WONT FIX.

> Two appenders to the same file
> ------------------------------
>
> Key: LBCORE-29
> URL: http://jira.qos.ch/browse/LBCORE-29
> Project: logback-core
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Rolling
> Affects Versions: unspecified
> Environment: Operating System: Windows
> Platform: PC
> Reporter: Andriy Petrov
> Assignee: Logback dev list
>
> There are two different loggers writing to the same file with different patterns (so there are two different file appenders). In case rolling is turned on (on both) output gets lost.
