I would like to propose to move the evaluator logic from SMTPAppender into the superclass (Appender) to enable a more general use e.g. also in FileAppenders.
Would be perfect to be used for FilterBasedRolling/Triggering policies where a keyword triggers the rolling and creates a new logfile (independent of size or time). Same purpose as sending several log entries in a single mail - but based on files.
