[logback-user] Logback.groovy configuration results in java.lang.VerifyError exception.

Its :

java version "1.6.0_20"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_20-b02)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 16.3-b01, mixed mode, sharing)

This is what I get when I run java -version.

I think its pointing to JRE ($JAVA_HOME/jre)...

I can run config file finr. It runs without generating a
java.lang.VerifyError. Which JDK are you using?
