[logback-user] TLS problem in SMTPAppender

Hi Mark,

I've looked at the pull request you sent previously and I was left 
scratching my head. However, I guess you are right that mail servers can 
require TLS without requiring authentication.

For traceability reasons, could you please enter a bug report for this 
issue?
