[logback-user] DBAppender and markers

Hi,
I'm working in a patch to record markers in the logging_event table.
The patch is almost done in the master branch, 2.0.0-SNAPSHOT.
Should i move to the 1.0.x branch? I'm not sure how to contribute back
to the project.
