Stephen created SLF4J-473:
-----------------------------

             Summary: push/pop methods for MDC?
                 Key: SLF4J-473
                 URL: https://jira.qos.ch/browse/SLF4J-473
             Project: SLF4J
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Stephen
            Assignee: SLF4J developers list
            Priority: Minor

Would it be a good idea to have push/pop methods for getting a bunch of values into the MDC?

Currently we have to call putClosable a bunch of times in a try with resources declaration statement. Would it be a good idea to add push/pop methods to more easily set and remove multiple values? lwjgl has [something like this|https://github.com/LWJGL/lwjgl3-wiki/wiki/1.3.-Memory-FAQ#1-stack-allocation]. They use it to manage an actual stack of memory. And I guess the methods you typically use there are push and close.. but it's the same idea.
