@Ceki,  I am little bit confused with the update fixversion: 1.7.31... I don't see the version 1.7.31 on maven or in branch tags for slf4j. 
Is this issue known and fixed? Which version in maven should I use to get it?

Can you help with a workaround otherwise? I am completely blocked as this jar got updated for Spark3.0 and my logging completely broke due to it. Looking forward to a response.
