Wikipedia has a pretty clear opinion, about the subject. It also looks like 
that there is strong and justified support in favor of directing 
slf4j-simple's log output to stderr instead of the current stdout.

Kostids et al., unless there are any last minute objections, you can expect 
the desired change to take place for the
next release.
