[slf4j-user] Release of SLF4J 1.8.0-beta2

Hello,

Is there any timeline for when 1.8.0 of slfj-ext will move from beta to an actual release?  I want to upgrade due to the security vulnerability in EventData but I am wary of upgrading to a beta release.
