Hello Graham,

Although I like the idea of markers quite a bit, you maybe right in your 
observation that markers make the SLF4J Logger interface unnecessarily 
heavy. Other participants, namely Greg and Niclas, have made similar 
observations. In short, although markers maybe good, they are perhaps not 
appropriate in SLF4J.

Would you prefer Markers to be dropped in the next version of SLF4J?
