I only have 60 seconds to write this message. So it may be a little terse.

Funny that you should mention AOP. I spent part of yesterday trying to 
understand how AspectJ folks mark things and define crosscuts. Not to scare 
you, but there are some distant similarities between the two problems.  :-)
