Sadly, no. In fact, when testing with Tomcat 5.5.23, the number of calls to
release() increased -- I now see 9 warning messages, whereas previously I
only saw 4, if that's relevant. The messages are clearly not a big deal, but
perhaps the explanation on http://www.slf4j.org/codes.html should be
clarified until the tomcat bug is resolved.
